OpenAI improved it's language model with GPT3.5 and ChatGPT. And this is one more clue that AI is the next revolution after personal computers and internet.
As the capabilities of ChatGPT continue to improve, it is likely that we will see more and more chatbots that are able to effectively communicate with humans in a natural and intuitive way. This could have a wide range of applications, including customer service, online education, and even virtual companionship. In the future, it is possible that chatbots powered by the GPT-3 model will be able to perform many tasks that currently require human intervention. This could potentially free up time and resources for humans to focus on more complex and creative endeavors. Overall, ChatGPT and the GPT-3 model represent a major step forward in the field of natural language processing and machine learning. They have the potential to revolutionize the way we interact with computers and technology, and it will be exciting to see how they continue to shape our lives in the coming years.
One of the things that sets ChatGPT apart from other chatbots is its ability to understand and generate context-aware responses. This means that it is able to understand the context of a conversation and generate appropriate responses based on that context. This is a significant improvement over traditional chatbots, which often struggle with understanding and responding to complex or nuanced conversations. Another impressive feature of ChatGPT is its ability to generate highly realistic and human-like text. This is made possible by the vast amount of data that the GPT-3 model was trained on, which allows it to capture the nuances and patterns of human language. This means that ChatGPT is able to generate responses that are virtually indistinguishable from those written by a human.
I have tried ChatGPT to write some text and I have been blown away by the quality of its responses. Even better than most humans for a fast response without reflection time. I also tried it to write some code in Haskell, and I have to say, it is not bad at all, exceeding a junior level programmer, giving advices that a senior programmer would give, making it an excellent tutor or peer programmer in Agile. I don't expect to write me a full software right now, but give it some time and it will come. One thing that I realized, is that for AI being on par with humans will no be sufficient, they will need to be superior to the above average human to be accepted. What set apart ChatGPT from other AI is that it got out of the uncanny valley.
