I discovered an interesting easter egg for Instagram recently while reading a nice article on an XSS hack on facebook. If you add the suffix ".html" to the URI of an image stored on Instagram CDN, you get a ASCII art representation of the image. Immediately I wanted to integrate the idea into my Instagram gallery. After some Javascript coding, I have added a function allowing you to toggle between the jpeg image and the ASCII Art representation. Try it yourself, got to the gallery, click on an image and click on "ASCII Art" under the title. Warning: it is slower to load the ASCII Art.
